The family has four children in total, but three of them — two daughters and one son — have been diagnosed with this serious bleeding disorder. The eldest daughter, Khadija, was the first child whose condition was discovered.

According to their mother, Khadija was about one year old when she experienced an injury during play. What seemed like a small wound quickly turned into a frightening situation because the bleeding would not stop. At that time, the family had no knowledge of hemophilia and could not understand why the bleeding continued.

The child was taken to a local doctor in the village, and later to Children’s Hospital, where doctors finally recognized the symptoms of hemophilia and provided the necessary treatment. For some time, the family continued treatment there until they were eventually guided to Diya Welfare Organization, where specialized care and factor treatment were available.

When the family came to Diya Welfare Organization, Khadija was around four years old. During this time, the family also discovered that two more of their children were affected by hemophilia. Soon after, all three children were registered at the organization so they could receive proper medical care.

The mother shares that her life has not been easy. She is managing the responsibilities of raising her children largely on her own, and traveling for treatment is often difficult. Coming to the center from a distant area can be challenging, especially without reliable transportation.

Despite these hardships, she continues to face every challenge with patience and faith. She believes that these trials are part of life’s tests and trusts that God will reward patience and perseverance.

One of the most painful moments for her is watching her children suffer from injuries or bleeding episodes. As a mother, seeing her children in pain is incredibly difficult, yet she remains strong and supportive for them.

Whenever her children experience minor injuries at home, she tries to manage the situation using the guidance provided by doctors at Diya Welfare Organization. She applies ice packs, uses prescribed medicines, and carefully monitors their condition. If the bleeding becomes severe, she immediately brings them to the center where medical staff are available to provide factor treatment.

The family also highlighted the importance of community support. Neighbors and relatives often help them with transportation and assistance whenever the children need urgent medical care.

The mother shared that she never restricts her children from living their lives as normally as possible. Even though they must be careful to avoid injuries, she encourages them to stay hopeful and live with confidence like other children.

Her eldest daughter has started asking thoughtful questions about the illness and sometimes wonders why she and her siblings have this condition. The mother explains that such moments are emotionally difficult but she tries to give them hope and reassurance.

Like many families facing hemophilia, her greatest wish is simple: good health and a safe future for her children. She prays that one day a permanent cure may be discovered so that children suffering from this condition can live without fear.

She also made an important appeal to society. Families like hers often struggle with transportation during emergencies, which is why she requested donors to help provide an ambulance facility. Such support could ensure that patients receive treatment quickly and safely during bleeding emergencies.

Despite all the challenges, this mother continues to teach her children important values — honesty, respect for elders, and patience in difficult times.
